Technical English course provides training in language needed in a range of technical profession by providing opportunities of practice in the four strands of language. In addition, learners will develop spoken communication through discussion on technical topics.
This course is designed to enhance the TVET graduates with skills required for employability, occupational enhancement and career upgradation for future endeavors.
The course includes content that focuses on life skills, mechanics of writing, basic business correspondence, basic communication skills, basic comprehension, note taking, fundamentals of report writing and career guidance for National Certificate level 2 courses.
For National Certificate level 3 courses, the content includes life skills, advanced business correspondence, advanced communication skills, advanced comprehension and career guidance.
