This course is designed to provide learners the knowledge, skills and
attitude to become competent welder in accordance with industry
standards. Upon completion of this course, the graduates will be able to
work in industries where they can perform duties like carrying out
Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Oxy-acetylene Welding, Spot
welding and Seam welding.
To obtain the qualification of Welding Certificate 2, all learning outcomes
prescribed for this qualification must be achieved.
